Twenty Years Later

Living with a chronic neurological disease opens doors to experimental treatments for the adventurous soul. I wasn’t enamored with marijuana during my teen years and it wasn’t necessarily because I was a “prude”. I just didn’t like the way it made my head separate from my body and the total out-of-body disconnect I experienced.

Look at me now, chomping away on a gummy.

And hating that feeling all over again.

DELTA-8, 100% Hemp derived.”Take half of one,” Emily at our local CBD Reserve told me. “You’ll sleep like a charm and it should ease your muscle spasms.”

Maybe for anyone else, Miss Emily; I didn’t care for it. My reaction? A headache, dry mouth, total lack of concentration, and slight heart palpitations. Nope, not my scene.

I DO, however, really like the tinctures and definiely the like the goat milk 250MG CBD lotion. It really does soothe the spasticity in my legs and feet. I know that CBDused as an alternative treatment, with or without THC, helps many people with MS. (And I really wanted to be one of those people.) For now I’ll stick to my prescribed meds with a few drops of Full Spectrum 1500 Hemp extract in the morning and before bed.

No more gummies for me, though.
