Difficult Gratitude

I do my best to greet each day with a smile and a happy heart, no matter my physical state. Today was the same even though the migraine that lingered all day yesterday grew into a serious ailment as today progresses.
I should have known things were out of whack this morning when I couldn't access Sunday worship. Then my team lost their second-round game in the NCAA Tournament.
Now I just want all the lights turned off and the comfort of my bed; but it’s not even 8:00 PM.
